These style frame is a good example, that intersting concept can attract more attention than good technical/visual frame without any idea. Process of creation of these frame consist of few really simple techniques. First of all create two primitives capsule and box both of them will be used in booling process.Then copy the capsule cut it in half, delete one half and primitive for transmitter is done. Use "close hole" to create polygon on top of transmitter and use "set selection" on these polygon. You can already throw material on these polygon and will see that displacement (if you have one in your material) create holes in mesh (easy to remove with clone tool in photoshop). Same material throw on box it will be our ground. For details on transmitter use bevel/set selection. My screen recorder failed me, so in video there is no part where i create cylinders and spheres which are making tech view, but i think you can do it without video process. AND two main things of these style frame - very good looking ground material and great lighting. I used textures from RD TEXTURES
